Product Description
CareFree Boats introduces a new, low-maintenance pedal boat. It features a self-bailing deck and sealed pontoons so you can just tie your boat off to a dock, or pull up on the beach without covering it. Manufactured of tough fiberglass vs cheap plastic exterior. Also features thick aluminum paddle blades and kick-up rudder. Another nice feature is the stainless steel pedal crank. The only maintenance this boat needs is some grease once a year on the ball bearings where you pedal. This boat really lives up to the CareFree name. Best for Childrens / Youth Camps because of limited weight capacity

After using this boat with my wife, (watch the video) I noticed a couple of things. It is care free when it comes to maintenance, but be careful when it comes to use. When I got on the boat by myself at 200lbs, I was listing so much it seemed unusable. When my wife at 130ish lbs got on the boat it was fine(in video). The factory says 500lbs goes down 7" into the water? Maybe that will work if both are 250lbs, but you see how close to the water my wife and I were at 330ish lbs. She could do it by herself because she was less weight than me. If there is waves(boat wake?) you may see water come over the deck and get your feet wet, but the boat won't sink as they are sealed pontoons. I guess all small pedal boats you must be careful on, some more than others, but since this one is on the smaller size of small... double check your weights and water conditions before you purchase.
