Product Description
DirectBoats.com review: We found the PS-7.5 to be both stable and light for its size. With a single layer hull this boat is low maintenance. It doesn't have a drain plug, but it didn't not present itself to be a problem with a boat that is 68 lbs including Oar and Oar Locks we could easily turn on it's side to drain and store it on the shore. With about a 40" bottom width we found it stable enough to stand (one at a time) and there is a place to put your foot under the bench to steady yourself. We tried a bimini top and did not have problems because we went out on non windy days. The factory was not so optimistic and told us not to recommend using a bimini because they felt the boat was too light to use with one. We suppose they think that the boat will flip over. So even though we used one without problems, we do not recommend using one. We wish the factory would start making the clear boat like one we tested in the video below, but they said it was too hard to make. However, with the boat being tow-able, davit-able, trailer-able, car top-able, or simply thrown in a truck or SUV this is one versatile portable row boat. It is a great choice if you are looking for a simple tough small row boat.
