Questions & Answers about Kayak Dock Launch

how long of the 1" PVC do we need per kayak lift?
The 1” PVC Pipe is Cut To Desired Length.
How do I add handrails to this dock ?
You will have to purchase 1" PVC pipe locally to make your handrails.
How easy is the kyack launch dock to install on an existing floating dock?
It should be straightforward since both docks float together and move with the same wave action, so there’s minimal stress on the attachment point. The main consideration is where to connect to your existing floating dock. If it’s a plastic dock, attachment can be more complicated. However, if it’s a wood floating dock, connecting the two is much easier.
How do I keep the dock from sticking to the lake bed when water is down?
Proper installation is key to ensuring your drive-on dock does not become lodged in the mud during low water periods. To achieve this, we recommend constructing a stable base with cinder blocks. The blocks should be laid as level as possible on the bottom. On a sloped surface, you can create a level plane by stacking blocks higher in the deeper section. An added benefit is that the blocks will eventually develop a slimy layer, which provides a protective cushion for the plastic dock.
Is there an overhead bar avaliable to assist standing up on the kayak launch?
Unfortunately, there is not.
Regarding the kayak launch pad. have two jet ski pads in the water now . Can I connect to these pads with a bracket or does it need to be attached to the dock. Also how much is shipping to 29685. Thank you
I would recommend attaching it to the dock.
