Self bailing.... that means you don't have to scoop(bail) the water out of the top side or deck of your boat. It does not mean that your boat will not hold water inside the hull and out of site. If you store your boat outside on the ground, self bailing is a nice upgrade. Some pedal boats are both self bailing and foam filled.
