DirectBoats Review of Sportsman

DirectBoats Review of Sportsman
DirectBoats Review: The sportsman mini bass boat is very stable for it's size and able to handle one or two people up to 400lbs, plus 150lbs worth of gear. It fits into the back of most pickup trucks and if you can get right to the water you should be fine. The optional wheel dolly or trailer is almost a must have if your going to use by yourself. This boat is not self bailing, and is manufactured using a two piece construction. The deck and hull are sealed, stapled and glued but water still has a tendency to get in between the deck and hull when not properly stored. It is recommended to empty the water which accumulates before and after use so it does not soak into the Styrofoam floatation. There is room underneath the seats to add a cooler and or portable baitwell. The seats that come with the base boat get very hard soon after being on the water... so the deluxe package is a great upgrade because comfortable seats make a big difference when your seated for long periods of time.
