Editors Review: HDPE Rotomolded plastic hull with pointed pontoons has good combination of speed and lower weight. Add to that the ability to tie off to the dock, this is one of the better consumer pedal boats on the market. Not a dry ride at feet, water flows both ways... but not bad, depends on weight of people in front of boat. Better speed than future beach equinox unit because of pointed pontoons. Plastic seat backs doesn't separate from boat so nothing gets lost and it is adjustable and allows for one to lay down. Only problem with seat back is in commercial setting, they break fairly often because of design and constant use. Steering is simple and durable vs. hidden linkage bar mechanisms inside boats. Plastic and new aluminum(commercial grade) pedal drive has major problems at commercial level. No foam inside hull, beware of hull penetration or leaks, hard to get water out if gets inside. Bimini top is cumbersome to deal with and has had breakage problems at both retail and commercial level, if your loading and unloading from a dock beware top doesn't move out of your way. Entry level commercial boat if budget doesn't allow for a preferred self bailing and foam filled units, should last longer than the thermoformed pedal boats. If all pedal boats boats are rated as good better and best... this boat is better.
