The 2012 15' Aluminum Canoe is a standard duty aluminum canoe with 0.040 hull thickness.

The 2012 15' Aluminum Canoe has stretch formed sponsons on the sides above the water line. These "safety foils" effectively give the canoe a wider profile for extra stability while keeping the streamlined profile during normal paddling. The inside of all 2011 15' Aluminum .040 Canoes are painted with a non-skid paint.
